Another question? Let’s talk. What does LIOS actually do?
LIOS is a Quebec agency for technical documentation and knowledge transfer. We offer four services — consulting, writing, editing and translation — to produce guides, procedures, job aids, training materials and knowledge bases for your teams and your customers.
Which organizations turn to LIOS?
Manufacturers, software and technology publishers, and public companies and organizations. In 25 years, LIOS has delivered about 900 million words in three languages, transformed nearly 500 teams and trained some 5,000 people.
How long does a documentation project take?
Scoping usually takes two to four weeks, depending on the size of the work. Production then moves ahead in validated stages: you receive and start using the first content well before the engagement ends.
Can we hand over only part of the work?
Yes. You can entrust us with the documentation from end to end — from scoping through updates — or call on one specific skill: technical editing, translation, layout, content management or a single deliverable.
How do we get started with LIOS?
With a 30-minute meeting, no commitment, by video. We use it to confirm your objectives, your audiences and what should be documented first.
